My Vision
It’s all about connection,
without the fuss
As a young child I watched my mother transform customers in her dress shop on the south coast and studied how she created connections. My father trained apprentices to build boats while the sunlight danced and shone on the water around me. My degree in Graphic Design introduced me to the formal art of light and colour, and my passion for photography grew from there. I’ve not looked back since.
I love to work calmly and creatively, ideally with a cup of strong earl grey tea to hand and a good book by my side. I find inspiration in the every-day and the far-away. My daughter’s furrowed brow when she’s brushing my hair. A dusting of frost in the morning. The wide-open vistas of a mountain range. My life has taught me that so much can be created without a lot of fuss. You just need a bit of thought and care.
These days I try to keep my free spirit in check and stay closer to home for that illusive work / life balance. My suitcase is always ready if the perfect adventure calls though!
